Im in the camp that says her face changes are a result of aging, weight loss and gain. She may have had somthing done, but it's not so obvious that she is unrecognizable some of the others out there. Boob job, yes. Tummy, not sure as there are those that don't gain in the tummy area - Oprah for instance,she gets fat as hell, but still has a great overall shape. I envy those types. I work hard to keep my weight down, but I will always have a tummy. Mimi is beautiful and talented, but girl gotta watch her weight. To the person who seemed absolutely STUNNED that any woman of 40 could have a beautiful, youthful face without lines, all I can say is BLACK DON'T CRACK! I find it hilarious when people say that Mariah's breasts aren't fake and that their large size is due to weight gain. Are they friggin' blind or just stupid? Remember last year when she made a fuzz about losing weight? She was back to looking (almost) as thin as her Butterfly days, yet her breasts remained enormous. She's obviously had breast implants. Not that it matters -- I mean, it's her body -- I just can't believe what some fanboys/girls would say to defend their idol. It's okay to admit some imperfection they might have. As for her face, I don't know if she's had a lot of surgery. If she has, then it's very subtle. I can only see a slight change in the tip of her nose, but nothing more.

They're obviously real this is why when she has weight on her like 160-180 pounds yeah her tits look like fuckin ballons but they're real they bounce when she walks and they part. When she was REALLY thin and muscular in 08' they were small for Mariah's standards but you can tell they were real. All through out the 90's they were small as she gained weight they ballooned. Her nose was thinner and her face just had a different appearence, she put on some pounds and her breast were larger.. and it was not plastic surgery.

Also keep in mind with pictures, lighting and angles can make features look different, and also air brushing and retouching.

Something that hardly anybody mentions is something that can change a lot the way a person looks. And thats the hair and her make up. She has now pretty much more make up than what she used to. Can notice too how this new make up artitst she has draws the lines on top of her lips to make them appear big. But when she went to a charity reunion she had no make up, and you could see her thing top lip. She is pretty, and all those old bags just got envy. Stop envying on her nature.

Possible... but wearing a pushup bra can make anyyone's boobs look fake. Also boobs can change in size over time depending on many different factors. Gaining weight can change your breast size or shape. Sometimes, it stays even if you loose the weight again later.

When she broke the scene in 1990 it was obvious she only had one focus in life--her voice. For that reason her range and power were unbelievable, no one like her came before, and none since. If I am watching a Britney Spears video I expect to see some A and T, because Britney is an entertainer (not a musician), and thats fine. This sort of behavior is not necessary from Mariah, in fact it kinda takes away from her presence. Now Mariah seems to spend more time worried about looking good when wears nothing but a bra and panties on stage, then she does about her music/voice. The current generation thinks hot slut when they hear Mariah, not realizing she was pretty much "IT" in her day.

Whatever, she paid her dues like no other and gave us all a ton of good music--she deserves happiness, so if big boobs do that for her, fine. I will always love her old music, will always have much respect for her, and pray that she puts the time and effort so she can perform live like she used to.

I was surprised she sang Hero on Saturday night's XFactor, and even more so by the fact that she sung it in such a low key. It also does reflect in the unchallenging types of songs she has been producing these last few years. I didn't know about the nodules though.

i saw mariah sing on the x factor on saturday, i was shocked at how differently she sang hero than when she did in the 90s. i prefer her older songs tbh, and i think she looked so much better before all the plastic surgery but shes still pretty now though.

She does look like she had surgery to be honest. Back in the 90's she looked like she had little to no surgery, but definitely since 2005 she has had a lot done.

oh and another thing. mariah only perferes to be photographed from the right side of her face. the reason is cause her nose is shaped differently on the other side from all the nose jobs she has had.
and when we say "all the nose jobs", people are so quick to be in denial. But Mariah keeps getting "SUBTLE" nose jobs to the point where it looks like 1 big nose job. she keeps thinking if she gets a little nose job here & there, noone will notice.

she def has a nose job. i used to watch Mariah on VHS in bed every night (1995) concert.. and if you compare the profile of her nose from back then to now, her nose used to stick out more. Now her nose is a lottttt flatter and pushed in if you look at it from the side. I am not just making accusations, this is coming from someone who was a HUGE FAN, and I observed and analyzed her through out the years, so I know what Im talking about. Theres no doubt about her getting her boobs done. but another thing people dont realize is why her mouth is shaped differently nowadays. She also got her teeth laminated (or thickened), which gives the appearance of her mouth/lips to become wider and longer. Her entire mouth area as gotten bigger due to the fact that she has cosmetically altered her teeth. So that should explain her face looking so different. and maybe that is why she cant sing the same anymore. but there is still no excuse for her behaving and writing/singing songs like she is 20 years old. even when she was in her 20's she was singing and performing more mature songs then she is now. I was waiting for the day when Mariah would get over this mid life crisis, but it seems to be going on forever. I was once the ultimate Mariah Carey Fan, now im just dissapointed. I will always be a fan of her from 90-96. .. but i dont ever think she will be the same.

It is amazing that this woman had such natural beauty and then ruined it. I mean I could see if she went from dog to model but she had classic beauty before and now she just looks trashy. What a shame. She looks a lot better with darker hair too.

Umm for the person who said that "all the girls are jealous" and they "if they had money they would do it too"...I have the money to do all the things she did twice or more, and I don't do it. I think what she did was wrong, and dangerous in many ways. She should've been happy with the body that God gave her. And I'm CERTAINLY not jealous! Nothing's stopping me, and you won't see me getting implants.

I'm a guy and the outrageously fake boobs (and the denial that they exist) annoy me. Look at photos of her before 1998 and it is impossible to deny it. She wasn't thin then, she just had below average size breasts. Now she's a DD. Either she got implants or someone cast a magical boob spell on her.

i hate saying this but she needs to get her dark and way again, grow out her eyebrows, lose weight, get rid of her implants, and most important wear clothes

Actually, im a huggggeeeeeee mariah fan and let me tell the facts. First of all mariah has NOT had chin implants because her chin doesnt look any different and she hasnt had cheek implants either, and if your saying she has then look at an old picture of her smiling and youll see she hasnt!. But i do think shes had a little nose surgery and its sraighter, so i do agree on that, and her breasts, when she put on weight they could of got bigger because when u put on weight your breasts do get bigger aswell and sometimes stay that way. i do miss the old mariah but shes still beautiful and can still sing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

definitely no nose job or chin work. both of those features haven't changed a bit. and i think her cheeks just plumped up when she gained a lot of weight. she's always had high cheek bones. her boobs may be another story. still, like her cheeks, they didn't get huge until she gained a good bit of weight. could be a good push up bra, could be plastic surgery.

Mariah has had chin, cheek and breat implants. Her nose has been fixed several times, so many that it looks weird now. I think she's had several botox injections and some collagen or restylane injections in her lips as well... Anything on her still natural? - I think not!
