Madonna Plastic Surgery

If Madonna got or not some plastic surgery to improve her image is something that have been going on for a while now. Many fans defend that she didn't have any procedure done, but the truth is that she looks somehow different and very good for her age. In many of her public appearances for awards and for her videos and concerts, she looks always youthful and wrinkle free, so the speculation just goes higher.

Madonna is well known for her working out habits, healthy diet and life style, so it is not a surprise that she maintain a healthy body, but lately she looks a different and people don't stop saying that she got some plastic surgery done.

At her appearance in the 2007 Oscars she looked good and young, the options then could be a face lift and of course Botox injections to hide possible wrinkles. Besides this there have been rumors saying that she got a rhinoplasty (nose job) in the past. But a year later she was photographed looking much thinner and not as good, suggesting that she really got cheek implants, as this feature was more prominent than ever before.

Chosen to be the face of D&G for Spring & Summer 2010, she looks again better than couple of years ago suggesting some new procedures as facial fillers or botox injections to keep her face as wrinkle free as possible.

As of September 2, 2011, Madonna has definitely gotten more work done. It doesn't even look like her anymore. For people to say she looks great for her age is a joke. Of courese, with all that money and people at your beck and call AND plastic surgery, why shouldn't she look good.

I don't think she ever really liked herself and has a real problem about her looks. She always changed her appearance and her body is awful, over exercised, looks really bad on an older woman. She should be glad she is alive and successful and just start enjoying her life and please, get rid of the baby boyfriends.

It's a disappointment, when someone talked against the plastic surgery, and then still did it himself. I guess, Madonna is the same case - I'll be only happy if I'm wrong.

I am always amazed at the incredibly vitriolic comments that are thrown at Madonna. I generally assume it is because people find very powerful and beautiful women terrifying. Anyway, so what. She looks incredible for a woman in her 50s. Her surgery is just brilliant. Would people prefer her to have jowels and a nice grey perm? I would love to know who helps her out as they are amazingly talented. You know what Im not sure if its plastic surgery that is making her look tired in some shots. God I hope not!!! One of the reasons I love Madonna and there are many is that she was always proud of herself and had self confidence. I hope she doesnt fall into the trap that society likes to put women in. That they cant get older. I hope she stays natural! In all honesty I think its her way excessive workouts that are giving her a strange physique. She is obsessd with exercise. I think unhealthly so. I think she exercises profusely to fight any depression she has. She is also obsessed with not being a victum. She doesnt do drugs so I guess exercise is her vice. I think she should relax more. Not become sedentary but take it easy a little! My poor Madonna!! I think she fels like she has to constantly b on top because women have to fight in this world. She was stunning Confessions tour in 2006. And even in the Sticky & Sweet tour 2008 she had had work done but looked beautiful. Then after the tour ended she got those God awful cheek implants. But I got used to them and then she had to go and put lots of filler in her whole face. Ugh. It makes me sad. I watch her Confessions tour video and she was so stunning. Why, Madonna? I do not understand the trend of cheek implants like with Madonna. It looks unnatural and plastic, it is not attractive. And the enthusiasm to use botox- ridiculous and desperate. I keep reading these comments about how different these celebs look now after 40 from when they were in their 20's.

I think we need to consider that NO ONE (with or without augmentation) looks the same at 50 & 60 as when they were in their 20's..... Do your parents & grandparents look the same now as they did in their 20's? I think not. If all they're using are (small amounts of) fillers & botox then they're not changing their structure and would've looked the same only older.

Madonna did have plastic surgery. She is one of the wealthiest women in show business. She is admired for being so strong and healthy. 3 years ago, Madonna began to look really rough. Now, her cheeks are very pronounced and skin is tighter. No doubt, she has had cheeks implants and the tip of her nose done and botox. I believe all the rest is god given. She was so beautiful in the 80s. Beauty doesn't stay and we all grow old. The stars to be really admired for not making these changes and still are beautiful is Meryl Streep. She is growing old gracefully and able to do tons of acting and doesn't seem to mind if she looks bad in a movie. She comes across great. Madonna and Jennifer Lopez will always have plastic surgery to continue to look younger and never be good actresses. Jennifer Aniston is gorgeous, but I must admit as a man that she always plays the pretty girl in her movies. She never plays a serious character. Heads up to Madonna. Ok--you want to know what Madonna has done? She had a thread lift, it is a procedure that goes behind the ear and uses a spiked dissolvable pipe that is inserted and then the tube is removed then the spikes stick to the skin and the skin is pulled back and any excess skin removed at the sit and a small incision is then sutured up. She had a blepharoplasty, or rather eye job as it is known, and she has had extensive Sculptra treatments all over her face and Botox. Sculptra is what accounts for the fuller cheekbones and fuller looking face. It is an injectable that originally was used for HIV facial wasting but now is used to increase facial fat volume, or collagenisis, by means of injection of the substance, a natural sugar that promotes the person's own body to create more collagen where the substance is injected (it is injected then massaged around the area to spread it evenly). This is why her cheeks look so youthful and full and her chin and mid-face as well. In addition she uses tretinoin, also known as retin-a, which increases skin cell turnover, from head to toe and sleeps in a body suit of petroleum to make her skin softer and supple looking. Yes, it is hard to be Madonna but she does prove that the cosmetic options exist to defy ageing.

She had submalar implants, which are implants below the cheekbones, or combination cheekbone/submalar implants. They are huge and very obvious. The don't look good. If she wanted implants, she should have gotten smaller, more subtle ones. She also looks like she had microliposuction of her cheek fat or removal. Her cheeks were always chubby, and I don't think even weight loss would get rid of that much fat in the cheeks, and certainly not in such an artistically contoured fashion. Her face looks sculpted. She may have had a facelift of some kind (maybe a minilift, she doesn't have the excessively pulled look of a full facelift, and she's also not all that old). I don't think her plastic surgery looks good. It's too obvious. She should get smaller, more subtle implants in her cheeks, that would help.

Her nose looks the same as 25 years ago, her eyes - well, if she did have eye lid surgery it would have to be before her Blond Ambition Tour in 1990 - her eye lids looked very tight back then - take a look at the Arsenio Hall Show when she was a guest just before the tour kicked of. I just saw her sticky sweet concert and the woman brings so much happiness to her performance,and non stop energy. Her fans adore her and she is a better person than in her youth. Actually, before you blame it all on plastic surgery, or aging, just look at her work-out regimen, and how ripped she has gotten. She has literally been working out so intensively, she's lost all body fat and is nothing but skin and bones and muscle. In my opinion, Madonna has had some great work done on her face. She waited a long time, so we could all see the natural aging process happening. Then, suddenly, when she released "Confessions on a Dance Floor," her features were once again sharp and gorgeous. She looks to have had something injected in her cheecks, not actual implants like everyone is suggesting here. But, you know what......she still looks absolutely beautitul and natural, so more power to her. She's way too smart to become a plastic surgery victim. I do wish she'd do something with her hair, though! She'd look much better with straight hair that looks a little more polished and done. Not that she cares about my opinion, right?!

I saw a few pictures of Madonna about a month a go and I thought she looked quite different. Now i'm convinced she's had something done. She's a great entertainer but am wondering if she going to look more like Mae West...Than Madonna!

Is it just me or has anybody noticed that madonna looks totally different lately? I reckon she has had cheek implant as well asall the other surgery, nose , eyes, botox and filler. she looks ok but I think the cheeck implants are just too much.

Uh oh! Madonna's edging into that plastic surgery thing where you begin to look like an entirely different person. Of course, that's been her schitck from the beginning, but at least she had the same face. Be careful, Madonna, or you'll end up like Michael Jackson -- looking like no human at all!
