She did not need plastic surgery. I don't know why she did it. Just like Cher, she was a natural beauty. and plastic surgery ruined her good looks.

She was the "it" girl of the 70's and I wish she could have been destined to meet better men. The movie, 'The Burning Bed' haunts me to this day. I just wish I could have sent to the death chamber that psycho husband/bastard that left the dog out in the cold to die.

She had cancer, that prematurely aged Farrah. She will always be a beautiful actress to me! Once I saw an interview, and she was very sweet! May she rest in peace! She also went through the stress of her sister dying form cancer, Ryan O'Neil, and her son being arrested!

I've looked at the other idiotic celebrities who had plastic surgery for their ego. Many of them just couldn't compete with looking natural in KEN & Barbiewood/Hollywood... if you don't look plastic enough for the screen or stage - you may never eat again... So they alTered their appearance. Let's face it, getting plastic surgery in celebrity land is like going to the barbers or hairdressers. I'm sure the surgeons get no sleep.

Lots of assholes with plastic surgery are on this website but Farrah was a real person on the inside - beautiful and that's enough. Her plastic surgery only made her look worse anyway but she was a good person.

I question why people think of this woman as so beautiful- apart from the hair and even that coloured! People expressed her beauty. I think that if these celebrities focused more on providing talent, they would not be so self-obsessed with their looks and have a more positive perception of life matters.

I have lost an aunt, uncle and friends from cancer that I was close to and watched what they had to go through. You, Ryan and your son are in my thoughts and prayers . Love you all.

My cousin died on the operating table and was revived. She was upset. On dialysis 3 times a week, her quality of life was not good. She did not make it to 40 years old Farrah. She did not make it to become a mother. She never had the happiness of marriage. Earth is to suffer. Jesus suffered for us, so we should accept our suffering. My cousin said that the phase of death is wonderful. Lovely she went on. A feeling that words cannot explain. I believe her. God gives us death, but eases us into it's glory. Have faith that you too will know the wonder of eternity.

I am praying the rosary to bring you to this peace.

I like Farrah but she found out the hard way that she is only human, not super-human. She fought her fading looks and lost by overduing the plastic surgery, which turned her hideous. There are several types of cancer than no one has beat, no matter how healthy, strong, rich or smart the victim is. Farrah was very lucky to have the money for private jets and hospitals, most victims don't. Jackie O decided to end her suffering through doctor assisted suicide, I think we should all have that option and not be given false hope to run up medical bills enriching doctors and hospitals. How much any person can tolerate pain and suffering is an individual matter and why, after trillions of dollars spent on reasearch and treatment, there is still not a cure or vacination is beyond me. I don't trust the medical establishment or the government to reveal a cure to the general public.

I met her. The kindest woman EVER. She is BEAUTIFUL, in every way. God Bless her.

Have some compassion! All of us miss the unlined faces and tight bodies that we had when young, but imagine what it feels like to have been spectacularly beautiful and have to watch those looks fade. To do so in LA, where youthful beauty is the be all and end all, is the very definition of torture. It is pathetic to see these once-beautiful pony-tailed 60-somethings with their trout-mouths and high, unmoveable boobs, but in a society where few seem to be starting a Great Books reading club, who can blame 'em?

I think Farrah and many other celebs spoil their looks with cosmetic surgery. More importantly, Farrah's Story was on TV tonight and was an EXCELLENT documentary worthy of awards.

I feel sorry for Farrah now, since she has cancer. Howeverr, she really insulted the public's intelligence a few years ago. She was on the David Letterman show and said she she had not had plastic surgery, David started off by asking if she had plastic surgery, It was a deliberate set up in which she had told David to ask her this, so she could say no and think the public was stupid enough to believe it. No one's mouth changes as Farrah's did unless they have a stroke, or plastic surgery. Her lying made her look bad.

Just like everybody else, beauty fades, so you better have something better to fall back on when it starts to fade, and trust me, it will. Marry someone, who loves you for whats inside and not some eye candy or body, that will soon sag, with the face, and to go under the knife for beauty is pure crazy, unless you have to for medical reasons, like breast cancer and reconstructive surgery is needed. Or a car crash, and plastic surgery is needed. But to do it for pure vanity, is pure stupid and unwise. I've seen Farrah a before and after her comestic surgery. I wish she never had that nose job, but saying that Farrah looks amazing in person. Some of these pixs are just terrible. I'm betting altered on some.

pressures of hollywood cause women to go nuts about how they age..shame..instead of playing ingenues she could tranfer to playing parts her age..but hollywood women don't want to do that..the real actresses show expression and character on their faces..these 'plastic' stars today show fillers, botox, and paralysis..it is a shame.

Instead of all the plastic surgery, which made her look hideous, she should have gotten a colonoscopy and taken care of her health. It's true.

I think plastic surgery makes American women look so gorgeous and natural. It definitely helps them avoid being aged..because who would want to look like a normal human being? It's far more gorgeous to look young and taught, maybe slighly mishapen, but hey, you look young and tight skinned. That's true beauty.

I saw a picture on Aol of her getting off a plane from I believe was germany stating she wa doing well and had finished her chemo after 6 months being overseas. This phot was beantiful and though she is older she looked great. I still think it was not a photo and there was some mistake as she looked more like Robin Wright Penn. I could barely see a Farrah in this photo. So whether it was her or not she looked great and better than another photo I have seen of her in a long time. I wish her pure luck in her medical ordeal because u know ehat looks ain't nothing when you have cancer.

She always had a nice figure, but her face wasn't anything special. With a different hair do, she would have only been average.

I'm a big fan of farrah fawcett. she look gogeous. let her live a normal life. but i wonder did anybody care about jackly smith face? she is older than farrah 1 year, but she's didn't look old not even a wrinkle. even her co-star and best friend do look old and had a wrinkle, even charlie's angel guest star like kim catrall and kim basssinger do had a wrinkle although they are younger than her , so did lindsay wagner, heather thomas and lynda carter. but nobody care . i had read an article one of the plastic surgeon said that she had did something to her face, but nobody seem to ignore that, keep on praising her look instead, come to the senses nobody will look so young in her ages. so think!!!!!
