Former supermodel Cindy Crawford made some new statements about her views on plastic surgery for the Ladies Home Journal: "When I was 30 I might have said, 'I'm just going to age in a way that honors time and is completely natural,' but I'm no longer so highbrow about it... I've tried Botox but it scares me. Plastic surgery is really scary, but as long as you don't use these things to change your face, I think it's okay."

It is not news that she got some plastic surgery before, since she was in the middle of the scandal after admitting to have more than a decade using it to keep looking young while promoting her natural beauty products.

For all the ones who were thinking supermodels don't go for plastic surgery, or at least don't admit it, Cindy Crawford admitted that she have been going to see a cosmetic surgeon for more than 10 years. She said that she goes regularly to visit her surgeon for treatments like Botox, vitamin and collagen injections, however many people think that she has gotten more than she is admitting, including cheek implants, a nose job and chin implants.

"I'm not going to lie to myself: past a certain age, creams work on the texture of your skin but, in order to restore elasticity, all I can really count on is vitamin injections, Botox and collagen," she said to Gala magazine.

The model in the past insisted that her skin beauty was the result of a mixture of grown coffee and olive oil, but we know her secret ingredient: "I have a very simple, healthy life, which works miracles. I drink a lot of water, watch what I eat and exercise... But I owe the quality of my skin to my cosmetic surgeon."

Why don;t you worry about your children as much as your wrinkles. You son looks like he hasn't had a hair cut in 10 years. He has stringy hair and looks like he should live in an alley.

Cindy's does not look as good as she did 10 years ago. I don't care how much botox she gets. I saw a picture of her with celluite on her stomache. I think she should hang up the two piece swim suite. She is over 40 now and her youth is behind her. She is middle age whether she can face it or not.

I think it is about time she throws in the baton. She has children to worry about and that should be her priority no wrinkles. She will age regardless. Beauty does not stay around after 50. She is already 44 years old. She can not hold on to beauty much longer she is going to age and it will fade.

age has a way of catching up to us regardless of botox. She is nearing 50 and outside beauty fades and it is the inside beauty that stays around. I hope she is beautiful on the inside because no matter how she fights it the outside beauty will fade.

Cindy Crawford is such a phoney. I recently read an article in People stating she did not have time to worry about wrinkles since she has kids now. She said her life is about her kids.

She is 44 years old now and her age will CATCH UP TO HER. LET NATURE TAKE ITS COURSE - YOU CAN ONLY FIGHT IT FOR SO LONG.

Cindy is such a fake. In order to look good, take care of your body wthout the suigical enhancements.. Reduce your consumption of animal fat. Consume fresh fruits and veggies (not cooked). I wear no foundation, only mascara and I constantly receive compliments from strangers on my skin (I'm in my 50's). Also, include at least 45 min. of vigorious excercise daily (which can be basic walking at a fast pace and weight bearing excercises). Make sure to swing your arms back and forth while walking! Of course genetics plays a vital point in looikng your best, there is no need to purchase expensive products that celebrities advertise. There are comparable products located everywhere in the pharmacy units.

I have been using the product for just a month and have lots of compliments from strangers that have said I have a very nice glow to my face and they want to know what I am doing to look so good. i know it won't rake all wreankles away but it had smoothed the in a shot period . thank you Cindy and Dr.

I concur completely with Lulu as to Christy Turlington who denies any plastic surgery. I recently saw a picture of her online prior to her modeling days. She has had a definite rhinoplasty procedure as well as lip enhancement. Her lips in the picture are completely thin as opposed to her "lush" lips of her many ads today. Hypocrite of hypocrites.

Thank you very much for letting everyone know that Cindy Crawford had surgery done. It stopped me from buying the creams on the infomercial. I use Z.Bigatti it does wonders to your skin. The products are very expensive but is worth the money.

I couldn't sleep and was watching Cindy's infomercial for Meaningful Beauty, where she conveniently has an African-American interviewer, an Asian woman interviewed, a Hispanic actress, Caucasian celebrities. She tries to hit all cultures, obviously. "What a scam," I thought. You can tell she has done more than use her Meaningful Beauty, yet they imply it is mostly what she uses. You can tell by her eyes that she has had work done. Yet, the infomercial is tempting, esp. when she has her sisters and mom speaking well of her.

I looked at infomercial reviews for her Meaningful Beauty and most said not to buy it and that it burns the skin/starts rashes. Most of all, the people had problems with things not being shipped and being billed each month even after cancelling.

Thanks to this site, it confirms that she has had work done on her face.

She has such a wholesome image that it is terrible that she is trying to hawk this stuff to innocent people just to make money.

I tried Jayne Seymours' line and it didn't do anything for me.

No more infomercials for me. I have always figured that if it were good enough, it would be at a store.

Beautiful? Yes a little Botox and Collagen injections are ok - then how come the oh so gorgeous super model that all you superficial dudes go ape shit about, doesnt say about her getting this stuff on her info merical for the Real Beauty line of cosmetics she pushes and tries to make everyone believe thats all she uses for glowing, youthful skin? hmmmmmm?

Refreshing to see such a gorgeous woman be honest; as she's said in the past, she doesn't wake up looking this way. Celebs and models wouldn't need makeup artists (or derms) if the all jumped out of bed looking spectacular and pimple and wrinkle free.

There's nothing wrong with making some improvements over time, especially in her industry. I think the issue is when someone becomes so immersed in perfecting themselves to some rigid ideal that they stop appreciating what makes them unique and can't accept change and natural aging. Slicing and dicing your skin as a hobby won't make body dysmorphia go away.
